Job Costing Data Capture
Isys Intelligent Job Costing is compatible with a wide variety of data capture hardware.
As standard all Isys terminals come with battery back-up and memory, meaning if there is a power outage or communications fail to the server the information is secure on the unit until power or communications returns. Notably, for large customers memory can be upgraded, enabling significant numbers of people to clock on a single device i.e. 30,000. All Isys hardware is of the highest quality and reliability as proved by the 500 businesses in the UK and Europe that clock 200,000 employees in and out every day.
All terminals offer a range of functions:
Each terminal can be linked to your server real-time via an IP network connection or wireless access point, and synchronise to the server clock, or connect via a modem and telephone line for remote buildings, or modem and GSM SIMM card for yet more isolated locations.
The terminal runs in an off-line mode as well to provide resilience in the event of a network outage, or server maintenance etc.
In addition to the clocking terminal it is common for Job Costing customers to use barcodes and scanners to make data capture simpler and faster for the employees on the shop floor.

The solution can use either barcodes generated by an existing ERP solution or by the Isys Report Wizard please see example opposite. This allows complete integration with your existing ERP solution.
As with all our products, Job Costing can be fully integrated with Time and Attendance, Access Control and Human Resources.
