A product of particular note is the Telephone Clocking Utility. This product has enabled Temco to accurately record all of the remote and small groups of employees servicing sporadic contracts in the UK using telephones. Importantly once the initial hardware costs were paid for there was little ongoing cost to set up new contracts we won. Which means as our business grows in numbers so does our use of our systems but importantly at a manageable low cost.

Where traditional Time and Attendance solutions struggle to offer an easy-to-use and cost effective way of clocking remote workers, the Intelligent -Time TCU allows you to include a wide variety of employees no matter their geographical location by using existing telephony infrastructure. With telephony being highly adaptive, this method of clocking is also easy to deploy into most environments

Telephone Clocking enables employees to clock in from anywhere in the country using a land line or mobile phone. Our data logic boards also allow any type of telephone line to be compatible. I.e. analogue, digital, e1 or Voip lines etc.

Secure Data Collection

Supporting Caller ID (CLI), the Intelligent Time & Attendance TCU can be configured to only accept calls from preset numbers, ensuring that staff clock only at agreed locations. The Intelligent-Time TCU also offers Random Verification Check, a strong anti-fraud feature used to stop buddy clocking or unauthorized sub-contracting. On ringing in to clock, the user is played a question at random from a list, which the Intelligent-Time TCU then records their response for verification against their employee records.

  • Employees can also be restricted to which phone/mobile they can clock with, again restricting any potential abuse of the system.
  • As a method of security, the software can enforce random verification checks on an employee trying to clock in i.e. if an employee is checked then a pre recorded question will be asked about details such as next of kin, date of birth, doctor, street name etc.

Including an integrated Voicemail system, the Intelligent -Time TCU allows users to leave messages for their supervisors, and the supervisor in turn to leave messages for their staff.  This extends voice messaging to workers previously without coverage, and ensures that important messages get through by forcing users to hear them before they are able to clock.

The Intelligent -Time TCU is also integrated with Intelligent -Time’s Activity Analysis and Job Costing modules, allowing users to log time spent in different categories in the same way that they clock in and out.

  • When clocking, an employee has all the options he would at a normal terminal such as clock in, clock out, start break, end break and change activity.
  • Messages can be left on the system by an employee for an employer or vice versa. You then have the option to force employees etc to listen to the whole message before allowing any action to take place.
  • The response from the employee is then recorded and at a later date a manager can verify this information safeguarding any abuse of the system. 

Mobile Phone Location Tracking

Scalability

Using state-of-the-art Intel hardware with Isys' Intelligent software interface, the Intelligent Time Telephone Clocking Utility is able to use any type of phone line and be scaled to cope with an unlimited number of simultaneous incoming calls.  In the event that large numbers of employees simultaneously need to clock in, our software can be configured to use multiple phone lines enabling large groups of employees to clock in.
